About the Author
Serena Coleman, author of Holy Beanz, has always had a love for writing. Born in New York, she continues to live in the Northeast with her family. With a deep passion for learning and teaching, Serena spent over twenty years as a teacher and school administrator, and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Her experiences in education deeply shape her storytelling, infusing each book with insight, heart, and purpose. Serena’s dedication to lifelong learning and her enthusiasm for inspiring young minds make her a powerful voice in children’s literature. Her stories—like Serena herself—are rich with wisdom, warmth, and a true love of learning.

🎨 Here’s How to Enter:
- Students choose a creative word to go before the word Beanz in the title of the next book (like Cool Beanz, Chili Beanz, or Holy Beanz).
- Then, they draw a picture of what they imagine that book would be about!
- Submit student work by email to: thebeanzbooks@gmail.com
- Please do not include student names.
- Include the school name and grade in the email.
🏆 What Can You Win?
- One winning student from each school will receive a signed copy of Holy Beanz mailed directly to your school!
- Winners will be announced during a special Author Zoom session with Dr. Serena Coleman—scheduled just for your school!
